Comparison of City's 5 year Golf Plan and SDMGA Golf Plan Projected Annualized
Revenues
SDMGA Plan of PUTTING SAN DIEGAN’S FIRST generates revenue
on par with City while keeping resident fees reasonable and keeping the senior
and county discount rates.
SDMGA has prepared a spreadsheet which shows a clear
comparison of the projected revenues for both the City's 5 Year Golf Plan and
the SDMGA Golf Plan. The SDMGA projected revenues are equal to or slightly
larger than that of the City. This is being accomplished without the
draconian fee increases for the city residents or the elimination of the senior
and county discount rates. The key is to charge market rates for ALL
non-resident golfers and outside tournaments while maintaining the 70% resident
to 30% non-resident access ratio.
